Jump into the world of Stone King 3 to defeat the Kingdom of Darkness:

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/647463

The war between Stonite and man left a lasting impact on the environment. The four kingdoms had to rebuild, among them: the Kingdom of Darkness also built in secret. Dependant on the secrecy provided by the evil forest, the Kingdom of Darkness has grown in the shadows. Filled with rebels from each of the Kingdoms, the Kingdom of Darkness is to be feared.

After a year of on and off development on the 3rd installment of the Stone King 3 it has arrived. The battle system in contrast with the previous two installments is over-head and combines aspects of both. Attacking is automatic and abilities are used on keypress. Additionally something I'd been wanting to add in both the first and second was an expansion of quests, and skilling. I started on fishing back in SK1 but didn't complete it. In SK2, the way the game flowed simply just didn't work with skilling. In SK3, the over-head view and system of interacting with objects works perfectly with skilling. Just click on ores, fishing spots, and people while being close enough; simplicity was key in developing this verson of Stone King.

Will there be a Stone King 4?

The answer is yes. I've created StoneKingIV.fla and have the story, and battle system conceptualized. I am looking forward to composing the score for this one; game by game, I am learning what works and what doesn't work in music. The music sometimes needs to be technical and still go unnoticed. It's an interesting, yet challenging task as a game designer

Hello, my fellow Newground Friends! How have you been? Good I hope, because I sure have. Now that I've familiarized myself with my new college schedule, and work, I'm beginning to fit- back into my schedule- some time to work on flash games! I will continue to advance my skills with flash and improve artwork, programming, and music style.

I've created a new theme for my channel. This is a snapshot of my new "Ryan Isler" logo, I like how it turned out and will be using it from now until I create a newer version!

The projects I'm currently working on: Stone King 3, Super Metroid III, and an unnamed project (arcade) will all have this new animated logo at the beginning; These projects, along with new ideas I've put on the back burner, will be released 2014: I am looking forward to firing up my creative juices, and keeping them heated throughout the entire year of 2014. I've found new inspiration, as well as a new pathway for my career. I will be pursuing it vigilantly through practice. These practices will be the results of my work for Newgrounds, and other digital media platforms.

Seize the day.

New Logo as well as New Inspiration

Che- che- check it out! Here is the brilliant link to play my latest game (6/12/13) titled: "Space Invaders." Build your turrets strong in order to match the growing strength of the enemy invaders!

During the last month of development for Stone King 2, I stumbled upon a twitch stream for the widely known video game: Star Craft. I hadn't known of it's existence until then. Watching this stream, and watching this game gave me unforeseen motivation to create a tower defense game! And here it is: Space Invaders.

I'm looking to create a "cover" game, as I call it. If my interest for a cover project (e.g zelda / metroid remake/extension flash remake) sustains, then I'll make one!

As of late I'm done with High School and have a full summer ahead of me. I'll upload more content now and then, but for now, I'm going to take a break and play Space Invaders! You should too!
